SAP PLM Internal Control Consultant – 6 months – REMOTE

General

• Roll out the controls for the project
• Ensure control sign off on each stage gate (as required by PLM methodology)
• Provide weekly status updates to project team, business, sector team any other relevant stakeholders
• Work with other  project functional leads (security , IT, business process or module) to progress controls agenda in line with overall project implementation

Project specific

• Review and understand end to end processes, risks and controls template
• Review and understand scope of implementation (processes, modules, etc.)
• Hold a controls sessions with key stakeholder and upper management in the business
• Lead fit gap sessions with key stakeholders to finalize scope of localization
• Localize documents based on agreed scope
• Review RICEFW for controls impact as they come up
• Action control gaps by designing mitigating controls , leveraging local controls, or suggesting system enhancements
• Fill out deviation form for controls
• Facilitate control  execution and testing SAP codes (as part of test cycles) by control owners
• Test all controls pre-go live and come up with remediation
• Lead knowledge transfer workshops with key stakeholders and obtain business signoff for transitioning controls from project to business
• Test all controls post go live and come up with remediation plans

Background

• Good background in business processes (PTP, OTC, MIM, FCL, MEM, DSD, etc.)  and accounting experience (preferable)
• Solid risk and controls background
• Solid experience in SAP S4HANA and configuration
• Understanding of ITGCs
• Previous experience in system implementation (preferably SAP) and controls design as part of implementation
• Good communication skills
